What is an AI Readiness Score?

It's a 0-100 score for how well an AI system can work with your website. We crawl your pages and score four things: whether AI can reach your site at all, whether it can make sense of each page, whether it can tell who your business is, and whether it describes you correctly when asked. Each part is weighted, and the weights are published rather than hidden: Discover 15%, Read 15%, Understand 45%, Answer 25%.

What do the four questions actually measure?

Discover covers your sitemap, robots.txt, the rules you set for AI crawlers, pages returning errors, and pages that stay blank until JavaScript runs. Read covers headings, canonical tags, titles and descriptions, image descriptions, and pages accidentally blocking their own indexing. Understand covers your business identity and whether every page connects back to it consistently. Answer means asking a real AI model questions about your business using only what your site says, then checking each answer against your own structured data.

Why does Understand count for almost half the score?

Because it's the part almost no other tool checks, and the part that actually breaks. Most checkers stop at whether schema markup exists. We check whether it holds together: whether references point at things that exist, whether your entities connect to each other, and whether your business name, phone number and address say the same thing on every page. A reference pointing at nothing is worse than no reference at all, and that is invisible to a simple presence check.

Will this get my brand cited by ChatGPT or Google AI Mode?

We won't promise that, and you should be careful with any tool that does. Readiness and visibility are different things. Readiness is whether AI systems can reach, read and correctly understand your site, which is entirely within your control and is what we measure and fix. Visibility is whether a model chooses to cite you, which depends on that model's training, its ranking and a great deal we cannot see. Fixing readiness removes the reasons you'd be misread or skipped. It does not guarantee placement, and we don't publish an invented probability that it will.

Is the check really free, and what are the limits?

Yes, and there's no signup. Paste a URL and we crawl up to 100 pages, usually in under a minute, then show the full report with your score, all four pillars and a ranked list of what to fix. The free check asks an AI model all six identity questions about your business, shows you every answer, and scores them, so the number you see is the real one. What a connected site adds is a page-by-page pass and a crawl of up to 1,000 pages. You can re-run any domain once every 24 hours.

What gets fixed automatically, and what needs me?

Three groups. Things we fix outright: missing markup on pages that have none, references pointing at things that don't exist, entities that never connect to each other, and the same thing declared twice in different ways. Things we ask you once and then publish everywhere: your phone number, address, registered name, and the profiles that prove you're you, entered once into your Entity Profile and written into every page's structured data. Things only you can do, which we name plainly instead of pretending otherwise: publishing a sitemap, adding an About page, writing image descriptions, or changing pages that need JavaScript before they show anything.

Does this work on sites that aren't WordPress?

The check works on any website, no plugin and no account needed. Applying fixes automatically needs a way onto your live site, and that's where the platform matters. WordPress has the free plugin. Next.js has our package, which updates without a redeploy. Anything else can pull its schema from our publish API, or copy the generated markup and paste it in. We show you which of these applies to your site rather than offering a one-click button that would quietly do nothing.

Question 8

What happens to my free report when I create an account?

The report itself stays available at its own link, and you can export it as PDF, JSON or Markdown to keep or send to a client. An account is for the other half: connecting your site so the fixes can actually be applied, tracking your score as it changes, and getting re-checked automatically on a paid plan so you find out when something regresses instead of discovering it months later.

What does it cost?

The check is free and always will be. The Free plan also includes 30 AI generations a month on one site, so you can fix the worst findings without paying. Pro is $19/month for 300 generations, bulk-fixing your whole site, content gap analysis and Google Search Console. Premium is $49/month for 1,000 generations across 5 sites with 3 team seats. Agency is $99/month for 3,000 generations with unlimited sites and seats. Site and seat limits are set by plan rather than sold as add-ons.

Question 10

Will it conflict with Yoast, Rank Math or AIOSEO?

Accepted Answer

No. On WordPress, AI Schema Gen suppresses the schema output from Yoast SEO, Rank Math and AIOSEO so you never end up with two sets of structured data on the same page. Everything else those plugins do, meta titles, sitemaps, readability, redirects, keeps working exactly as before. You're replacing their schema layer, not the plugin.
